ALMOST £500 has been donated to Tavistock Triangle Centre thanks to the efforts of a local woman.
Faith Dingle combined a reunion for former pupils of Pennygilliam School in Launceston at the Eagle House Hotel in the town with a coffee and craft morning at her home in Tavistock. Faith has been organising reunions for 25 years.
A total of £480 was raised for the centre which looks after cancer patients and their families and is a charity close to Faith's heart.
Also providing a boost for the centre were members of Tavistock Athletic Club. Following a successful raffle they presented a cheque for £150 to the facility.
The centre offers a range of services, including complementary therapies, information, psychological, support and counselling and benefits advice.
It is based in Tavistock Clinic every Friday from 10am to 4pm and has a drop-in facility and appointment-based therapies.
