THE third annual charity trial was recently held by Torridge and District Motorcycle Club. This year?s funds were raised for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Colleen Scott, from Yelverton, who sadly lost her battle to cancer last year. The club organised a prize draw running up to the event with the top prize being a week?s stay in a Cyprus villa. A raffle and auction were held on the day with the highlights being a weekend trials holiday at Lower Wembsworthy Farm, Hartland, and a signed shirt from the current British Trials champion, Graham Jarvis. The club raised a total of £2,301 and would like to thank all the people who donated prizes and helped sell tickets. Special thanks to John and Gill Sabotig who ran the trial at their Hessaford Farm, Kilkhampton.
