WALKERS can grab a medal of their own in this Olympic year and take on the 13 mile trek over Dartmoor in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Taking place on Sunday, October 14, the 13 mile round trek, beginning and ending in Widecombe in the Moor, will reward its trekkers with a certificate, cream tea and medal as they cross the finish line.

All money raised from the event will provide more hours of Marie Curie nursing care in Devon.

Registration is £10 per person (which covers parking and trek t-shirt).
