TAVISTOCK Triathlon Club held another successful training day last weekend at Kelly College.
The recently formed club holds specific training days every month in addition to the normal, and pretty busy, weekly training programme.
On a beautiful sunny day the group had some expert swim tuition lead by Rob Moore (winner of best triathlon coach 2010) and Clare Short, chairman and lead coach of TTC.
The group then had a discussion on buying and using wetsuits and tri suits before practising transitions and mini triathlon racing. Everyone had a lot of fun and gained a huge amount of race/transition knowledge and experience. The days are supported by the British Triathlon Federation.
Clare Short said 'There are two more training days planned for 2010 and the programme for 2011 is just as packed and varied. The club are looking forward to their new club kit, planning races, and achieving many goals in 2011. It is a very exciting time for all of us!'
