TAVISTOCK is having its own Last Night Of The Proms next Friday (September 8) at the Wharf. The programme, which starts at 7.30pm, will include Rule Britannia Pomp and Circumstance March number one, Jerusalem and Sea Songs. Performing on the night will be the Tavistock Versatile Brass Ensemble with Plymouth?s premier brass band ? Soundhouse Brass, The Carmenians Theatre Company, and Peter Clement (baritone). Tavistock?s ensemble is doing this event to support the work of Macmillan Cancer Relief. Tickets need to be booked in advanced by contacting the Wharf box office on 01822 611166.
