STEADY support continues for the Okehampton Fairplace Church refurbishment fund.

A coffee evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Peter Webb raised £111 to add to the £321 netted last week by the Okehampton Choral Society, while a similar event at 1 Knowle View raised £135 for Home Missions.

More spectacular still was a sponsorship appeal by Graham Partridge based on his London Marathon run this year which made £770 for the British Heart Foundation.
