CELEBRITY chef Peter Gorton is staging a 'Get Ready for Christmas' cooking demonstration in Tavistock Town Hall next month in support of children's charity the Mary Budding Trust.

Peter, with support from his restaurant team will show, in his own special style, how making some simple advance preparations can take the pressure off the home kitchen team on the day.
'Cooking for Christmas' starts at 2pm on Monday, November 19, and tickets are available from Bookstop on Market Street at £10 each.
All tickets will be entered into a draw to win lunch for two at Gorton's and include either a glass of wine or a soft drink provided by Tavistock wine merchant Charles Steevenson.
This promises to be a light-hearted and fun event. Tickets are limited so early purchase is recommended.
