A COFFEE morning and raffle in aid of the Community Healing Garden at Chagford will take place this Saturday (April 21).

The garden at Endecott House will provide a beautiful place of tranquility, healing and inspiration to inform people about the many benefits of growing healing herbs.

'Tea for Two' at Gidleigh Park is the special raffle prize at the Endecott House coffee morning and the prize includes a visit to the hotel's magnificent herb garden.

Many other excellent prizes include 'Being a Florist', at Amy's Flower Shop and taking home a bouquet you have made.

The group of volunteers from GrowChagford who are creating the garden want it to be used and enjoyed by all the community, whilst also providing an educational asset.

The aim is to eventually make herbal delights, elixirs, and remedies from the herbs grown.

Entry to the coffee morning, which runs from 10am to noon, is £1 and includes filter coffee and biscuits.

Plants and cakes will also be on sale.

Raffle tickets can be purchased now from Amy's Flower Shop, Chagford as well as the event. º
