PUPILS from class 2 of Spreyton School entertained a packed village hall with their Christmas production on Tuesday, December 18.

The children performed their own version of A Christmas Carol, which they had written, edited and staged themselves. The performance included songs, dancing and a surprise appearance by 007 himself, James Bond.

Technology helped the youngsters perfect their performance, using the school's recently purchased iPads to film rehearsals and improve performance.

Executive headteacher Stuart Busby said: 'I'm thrilled to have seen my very first Spreyton Christmas production. The children were fantastic and really showed their desire to entertain our local community.'
