Sidmouth firsts 2
Okehampton firsts 4
THE visitors started brightly and had chances to take the lead but the hosts goalkeeper was equal to everything they threw at him.
The away side continued to dominate, limiting the home side to few attacks but it took half an hour for the first goal to come though when Luke Miller hit home a reverse strike after the ball had bobbled around the area.
Okehampton started the second half on the attack but the home side countered and made the most of a defensive lapse to equalise with only their second chance of the game.
Undeterred the visitors rallied and won a short corner which saw Josh Speak drag flick their second goal and put them back into the lead.
Then came the move and goal of the season so far for Oke with Brett Lawson in a break away, played a one-two with Speak before finding Miller who smashed the ball across for Mark Parsons who, unmarked, converted the easiest of chances.
A short corner then produced Okehampton's fourth after some good dribbling Greg Williams slotted home before the home side scrambled in a consolation with six minutes to go.
This was a superb performance from Okehampton.
