ANGLER Tony Latter equalled Mill Hill's Milemead Fisheries' roach record with a bumper 2lb 6oz specimen taken on feeder fished red maggot at the fisheries' Carp Lake. Several roach weighing more than one and a half pounds were also caught along with carp of 13lb taken on maggot. Princetown's Tony Steele secured himself a win in March's first Sunday open match by bagging 53lb 6ozs; second was Richie Howcroft with 44lb 11ozs, third Alan Gautry with 38lb 10ozs, fourth Barry Westley with 35lb 12ozs and fifth Kevin Lund with 27lb 10ozs.
