CHAGFORD Cricket Club are running indoor nets for at least the next month, taking advantage of the excellent facilities in Oaklands Leisure Centre, Okehampton. The first session was held last Sunday (February 19) and will run for the next five Sundays from 3pm until 5pm. New players of all standards are welcome to the club, which has a full fixture list including Saturday matches in the Devon League, Sunday and midweek afternoon matches against touring sides as well as evening games against local opposition. The coaching will again be under the expert gaze of popular West Indian international and level 3 coach Prakash Joshi, who has now settled in Chagford with a successful computer supply and repair business.
