THE HARMONY Choir have been very busy since getting back together in the past few months and are due to put on their first concert in the Coronation Hall at Mary Tavy with local schoolchildren from Mary Tavy and Brentor Community Primary school next month.

The concert on Friday, December 3 promises to be a magical evening and the choir will be singing Christmas and popular songs.

The event starts at 5.30pm and will be free entry but donations would be very welcome.

If you are busy that evening, Harmony will also be singing at the Christmas Tree Celebration at St. Eustachius’ Church at 1pm on December 6.

Musical director of Harmony Chrissie Wade said: My Ladies have worked very hard and I am extremely proud of the standard they are achieving. We have fun whilst learning, helped along greatly by our amazing pianist Mary Mazur Park.

‘If you would like to join us in January 2022 you can contact me on 01822 810551.’

The first rehearsals in the New Year will begin on Wednesday, January 12.
