A TAVISTOCK woman is seeking help in solving a mystery about abandoned chair covers.

Caroline Lorenzi, from Tavistock, found a bin bag full of chair covers outside her house in Chollacott Lane and has no idea where they came from or who they belong to.

She said: 'A couple of weeks ago a turquoise car stopped outside my house and, according o neighbours, a lady got out and left a large black bin bag on my doorstep.

'When I returned I found it contained chair covers.

'I left them where they were thinking someone had left them by mistake and would return to collect them.

'No-one seems to know anything about why they have been left here.'

Caroline is now asking whoever left them, to get in touch to reclaim them. If she does not hear back she will donate the covers to a charity shop. Contact the Times on 01822 613666 to be put in touch with Caroline.
