THE regular Blues Nights at The Wharf in Tavistock during 2007 have been such a huge success that they will be back again in 2008. The Blues Nights are held on the first Thursday of each month, the first one being today. The format will continue as before with an open mic and The Wharf's regular band, talented local musicians SmokeStack (pictured right). Angela Court of The Wharf said: 'To those of you who say that blues is not exactly your thing, we use the word as a generic term to describe most types of music. 'So, whether you wish to jam with the band or just sit back and enjoy the music, make sure that you make the first Thursday of the month a blues night at The Wharf.'
