TAVISTOCK and district branch of the

RNLI held their annual coffee morning in the Parish Church Hall on Friday, November 4, which raised the splendid sum of £510, double our previous total.

The committee wish to thank Morrison supermarket, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Allan Dolan, Continental Fruits Tavistock and the Tavistock Co-op, who generously donated raffle prizes, and for the many private donations received.

The committee appreciated all the hard work carried out by members and friends who helped run the event, and the public for their continued support.

The branch's annual dinner will be held at Tavistock Golf Club on Saturday February 4 2012 and anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Jane Huxtable on 615027 as soon as possible.
