ON the last bank holiday weekend, as part of the national Tesco RNLI flag day collections, we raised £1,530.81 at Roborough. This was the second highest amount in the total of £13,981 for Devon. Our flag week raised £2,163.89; £530.72 in Tavistock on the Friday, £214.83 in Yelverton on the Saturday and £1,088.19 over the two days at Morrisons. House to house on the Bere peninsula totalled £330.15. This was a fantastic amount as this weather this year was, and still is, atrocious.
