THE foundation stage at Tavistock Community Primary School opened its doors to welcome parents and carers to their Teddy Bear Museum.
Parents were keen to see what their children had been learning and experiencing this term. They had opportunities to look at photos, art work, videos; special books and even enjoy a teddy bear biscuit made by the nursery children.
Parents and carers were able to give written feedback in teddy bear comments books. Comments and responses were positive and encouraging — one particular parent said that the museum was 'A lovely idea. We loved looking at the teddies. It was great for the family to be invited along'.
The staff at the school foundation stage will be planning a variety of forthcoming parents' sessions for the summer term.
