THE Tavistock Subscription Library situated in the corner of Court Gate, adjacent to the Town Museum, already holds coffee mornings from 10am to noon every Friday, when members and visitors are most welcome.

This has now been extended to Saturday afternoon teas at the library from 2.30pm to 4.30pm each Saturday.

The library welcomes all to come along and visit us, where a vast library of local books are enjoyed by members. Formed in 1799 it is one of the oldest private libraries in the country.
