TWO first half goals sealed what was otherwise an uneventful spectacle as Tavy stuck to their task in winning valuable points to keep them above Maker With Rame and only three points off top spot.
Both goals came in the first half with James Coole finishing from close range after captain Nick John?s shot was deflected wide. Mark Piper whipped the ball back in for the waiting Coole to pounce.
Matt Salisbury found himself unmarked at the far post to lash the ball high into the top corner for Tavy?s second and that was as exciting as it got.
With two tough games coming up against St Breward and a cup tie with Maker, Tavy will want to improve on this otherwise lacklustre performance.
