WELL-known thespian Pete Clement from Tavistock is currently treading the boards at the Princess Theatre in Torquay as the lead in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific.

Pete, who plays Emile de Becque, is starring alongside Helen Haviland as Nellie Forbush, 15 years after the duo first played the leads in the musical on stage in Tavistock.

Pete is a long standing member of the Tavistock Musical Theatre Company and the Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship, featuring as their leading man in many operatic performances.
