AFTER some exciting racing from the round one last weekend, Dartmoor MXC are ready to present the second round of the SWOR Championship on Sunday, 1 May at Yarnacombe, near Ivybridge.

Dartmoor MXC members have put a lot of work in over the winter months to get the track ready for this season.

Farrah Higgins for Dartmoor MXC said: 'It's a great natural flowing track that runs across both sides of the valley. This is great for riders with some good climbs, cambered corners and a step off where the more experienced riders can now clear more than 50 feet down the main hill. The track provides excellent viewing for spectators as just about the whole circuit can been seen from anywhere in the spectator area.

Several local riders sponsored by TyreMarks of Tavistock participating Mark Tillyer, Graham Sargent, Dan Hughes, George Hopwood and Bill Farleigh will all be in action. Entrance £5 adults, children free.

Signed off A38. Practice starts at 9.15am, racing starts at 10.30am.

There are adult groups, experts, seniors, junior 125 and junior open, youth groups (9 to 13 and 14 to 17).
