TAVISTOCK Ladies first team were on winning form again this week this time beating a hockey team just one place them in the Trelawney division one.
The visitors dominated from the start and worked together to keep the ball.
Despite the good possession and continuous attacks on goal, the Bude defence were preventing all attempts that Tavistock made to find the back of the net. Eventually, with a short corner being awarded to Tavistock Armstrong-West found the back of the net following a cross in from Lamb.
Bude came out after half time with several strong counter attacks but keeper Viggers was on great form, reaching to clear any shot on goal. The defence of Mills Hicks, Evans and Boulle worked together to clear any further attacks from Bude.
The final goal game from open play with the ball moving from Colston on the right to Grainger who struck the ball from the top of the 'D' with Langsford sweeping it past the Bude keeper.
With the score now at 2-0 tension rose among the Bude players, this led to several infringements against Tavistock players.
