THE ladies from the Tavistock Group of Friends of the Children’s Hospice South West presented welcoming smiles at the recent Open Gardens event at Combe Trenchard House and Garden held to raise funds for the charity which supports children with life limiting illnesses and their families.  

In addition to enjoying an excellent tea with home made cakes, many visitors were able to enjoy, in pleasant sunshine, the grounds and wonderful plants in the herbaceous borders which are a feature of the garden in the summer months courtesy of owner Sarah Marsh.
