TAVISTOCK College hosted its second ever dog show on June 23.

This time it was organised by Year 10 students, Heidi Turnock, Lilly Walke, Abigail Hix, Isabel Hiscocks, Joe Crosher, Milli Sailsbury, Jacob Blackburn-Denton, Natasha Griffiths, Hollie Lloyd, Rebecca Durkin and Connie Ballard in order to raise money for the Year 11 prom and for Gables Cats and Dogs Home.

The event was extremely well attended and 12 classes ran including cutest puppy, best trick, musical sits, dog in best condition and waggiest tail. The event culminated in a best in show class.

The students raised just over £867 in total. Much of this came from raffle prizes and donations that had been very kindly given by local businesses.
