Tavistock A 2 Penzance 4 IF this was a fishing competition, it would be classified as the one that got away. Tavistock weathered the storm and went one goal down within the first 10 minutes. The hosts began to settle into their rhythm and soon equalised through a superb strike by Adam Holland. Tavistock were cruising and putting a lot of pressure on the visitors and one of the numerous short corners resulted in the second goal via a massive strike by Phil Edwards. Tavistock were looking for the third when all composure went out of the window and during a ten minute period, Penzance capitalised on the confusion and scored two goals in quick succession. Tavistock hunted for the third but could not get the ball in the net and the game finished with a very disappointing loss. Next week the A team is away to the Plymouth University A.
