BOOMING bass-lines filled Tavistock Wharf last weekend as local artists wowed the audience at the two-day music extravaganza, TavisRock Festival.

The festival showcased a mixture of original and cover bands, acoustic artists and raging rock bands, while raising money for Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, although the total amount raised has not yet been added up.

Over Saturday and Sunday, audiences were entertained by top performances from acts, including Joker, Vince Lee and the Big Combo, Kitty and the Lost Boys, Less is More, Ben Carr and the Hot Rats, The Rock and Roll Outlaws, Decibelle, Jam Band and many others.

Having grown over the past two years, organisers hope it will be an even bigger event next year.
