NEXT week is World Reflexology Week and there will be a chance to see what the complementary therapy can do to reduce tension or alleviate pain. Hospiscare are offering people in Okehampton the opportunity to come along for reflexology taster sessions of 20 minutes next Thursday (September 22). The event will be running at the Church Hall, in Market Street from 10am to 4pm. Tickets for the reflexology session cost £5 and people can have a coffee or chat with friends, or stay for a light lunch for £3. World Reflexology Week runs from September 18 to 24 and aims to raise awareness of the benefits of reflexology which works on key points on the feet to help heal the whole body. Tickets for reflexology sessions and lunches are available from the Hospiscare shop in the arcade in Okehampton.
