THE Tavistock Local History Society is offering adults, families and anyone interested the chance to take a walk around the Merrivale area with a qualified Dartmoor National Park guide.
The area is rich in historical and prehistoric sites, which will be what the guide will be concentrating on.
The two-hour session will take place on Saturday July 23 from 10.30am and will be free for people to participate in.
There are only 25 spaces available on the walk so they will be given on a first come, first served basis.
