THE Plymouth Laryngectomy Club (PLC) aims to offer support and care to laryngectomees and their families in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

The PLC also encourages understanding and support from the general public.

Laryngectomy is the removal of the larynx and separation of the airway from the mouth, nose and oesophagus. The laryngectomee breathes through a stoma in the neck.

Anyone who is a laryngectomee or who knows someone who is can get in touch and join PLC in their meetings on the first Monday of each month.
