TAVISTOCK'S Oxfam shop will be open on Sundays throughout the summer thanks to the dedication of its volunteers.
The volunteers Tom Bulley, 30, Aaron Rowe, 24, and Amy Bamforthy, 31, are currently unemployed and looking for work and volunteering at Oxfam in the mean-time.
While working at Oxfam, the volunteers are undertaking a National Apprenticeship for customer service, and in a bid to enhance their CVs, they will be running the shop on Sundays.
The Sunday opening will start over the bank holiday weekend, and will be open between 11am and 3pm on Sundays throughout the summer.
Oxfam is actively looking for more volunteers for various roles within the shop. Anyone interested can either visit the shop in West Street or contact 01822 615534.
