OKEHAMPTON Taekwon-Do Club, which operates from Okehampton College gym on Tuesday and Friday nights, had 17 of its students grade for their next belts in Exeter at the weekend. All students were successful on the day, especially two, Elsie Hutt (9) and Jenny Foster (25) who exceeded the standard for their level by achieving credit passes. Jenny also received the Grading Award for top student on the day. Okehampton Taekwon-Do is a family orientated club, teaching 4-6 year-olds the Little Puma syllabus, and a junior and adult mixed class from age 7 onwards. The club not only teaches traditional Taekwon-Do but also encompasses Kick Boxing, Weaponry, Karate, and Ju Jitsu. The club will be expanding in October with the opening of Launceston Taekwon-Do Club.
