BOTH the U12s and U11s netball teams from Mount House School scored good wins against sides from St Peter's, Lympstone.
In the U12s A match it was St Peter's who scored in the first minute but Mount House fought back to soon take a 4-1 lead. There was solid defence by Issy Cox, Bethan Wesley and Oenone Rodgers while in the centre Elsa Kent, Francesca Thornton-Wood, and Lucy Massey were effective.
The Mount House girls kept the pressure up to seal a resounding 14-4 victory, with seven goals each from Lucy Walliker and Ellie Dowie.
The U12s B teams were well-matched and produced an exciting end-to-end game. The Mount House won 12-9 with Jenny Forrest scoring seven, Georgie Morris (3) and Elodie Hind (2).
In the U11s A match Mount House led 6-2 at half time but St Peter's fought back so that the scores were tied at 8-8 at the start of the final quarter before further goals from Emma Manton and Helen Jackman secure the 10-8 victory for Mount House.
The U11 B side played well, with good teamwork and excellent shooting from Martha Jacobs and Emily Hartley for Mount House. At half time Mount House led 7-4 and went on to win by 13-5.
