STUDENTS will be providing food for thought on the Balcony. On Thursday November 15, Year 11 students from Okehampton College are holding a three-course dinner at the Okehampton College Balcony restaurant. They have put together a mouth-watering menu to make the best use of the culinary skills they are continuing to develop. The meal will cost £10 ? an absolute steal for a three-course meal. Tickets can be bought from the college with starters and mains being pre-ordered with the purchase . The starters they will be serving are home-made soup, a fish platter, home-made ravioli and a fruit cocktail. This will be followed with mains to be selected from braised venison in red wine sauce, mackerel served with lime and the vegetarian option of a Mediterranean tart. These will all be served with an assortment of seasonal vegetables. Desserts will be chosen from the sweet trolley.
