STUDENTS of music in West Devon have hit the high notes in their recent exams. At the Associated Board music exams pupils form Okehampton College, Tavistock College and primary schools from the area achieved great success. Laura Nightingale passed her Grade I theory with distinction while Emma Beacon passed her Grade V theory. In singing, Francesca Diepenbrock, Bryony Franco and Sam Westlake all passed the preparatory test while Rebecca Jarvis passed Grade IV, Francesca Reeves passed grade V with merit and Harriet Davies passed Grade VI with merit. The students were coached by Linda Bellairs and accompanied by John Holland.
