TAVISTOCK Cricket Club ended its season with the president?s XI versus the club. Unfortunately the weather had the final say with the game closing at 4pm.

First and Second XIs had a successful season, finishing third and just missing out on promotion in their leagues.

President Stuart Munday handed out end of season trophies to the award winners: First XI: batting: Steve Luffman; bowling, Craig Alexander; all rounder, David Manning; players? player, Steve Luffman/David Manning.

Second XI: batting, Steve John; bowling, Dave Jeffery; all rounder, Ben Neale; players? player, John Rich.
