TAVISTOCK Cricket Club is looking for new players to join in their net practice in preparation for the new season.
Paul Vickers, the club's vice chairman, said: 'The Ring is set in probably the best location in Devon. At the end of last season the club invested heavily in improvements to the pitch. For the 2011 season we are investing in a new players practice area and nets facility at the club, which will be available to all members at the start of the season. In the meantime all existing and potential new members are invited to attend indoor net practice sessions, with ECB qualified coaches in attendance, at the Sports Hall, Tavistock College starting early February. All practice sessions £2.

U11s, first session, Tuesday, February 8, 5pm- 6pm, last session Tuesday, April 5; U13s and U15s, Thursday, February 10, 6pm-7pm,
last session Thursday, April 7.
Adult players, Thursday, February 10, 8pm-10pm, last session Thursday, April 7.
