Stannary Brass Band will be entertaining audiences on Saturday evening (October 3) with its second 'Proms' concert at St Eustachius' Church, Tavistock.
The band will be entertaining audiences with a varied programme, culminating with old favourites from 'Last Night of the Proms'.
Soprano Rosemary Turner will be singing while her husband David Turner will act as compere for the evening. Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir will also perform in both halves of the concert.
Proceeds of the evening will go towards the band instrument fund and maintaining its work of teaching young people to play an instrument.
The band expressed thanks to everyone involved in staging the concert, particularly the other performers and the Lions Club of Tavistock for their work behind the scenes.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 7.30pm. Entry is £6, and £1 for under 18s.
