LAST Friday week, my wife and I attended the Tavistock Music and Arts Festival supper at Kelly College.
Through the Times may I complement the festival organisers on their choice of pianist, namely Viktor Bijelovie. Viktor's interpretation and performance of such a variety of music, by Albenis, Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt, all played from memory, was the every highest quality and gave all assembled an evening of musical colour that in my humble opinion would be difficult to surpass.
The standing ovation by the entire audience said it all!
We are indeed so fortunate to have artists of such quality visit Tavistock each year.
