MARY Tavy completed their season in style by turning on each other in a paintballing session that turned out to be a great end to a successful season.

The squad, fresh from their winning cup exploits and promotional runners-up spot in the league, spent a day together in a team-building exercise.

The team then retired to the Ordulph Arms for their presentation ceremony.

Managers Lee Piper and Andy Stephens were overwhelmed by the turnout in what resulted in an excellent evening for all.

Trophy winners: Manager's player, Mark Piper; players' player, Matt Salisbury; most improved, Ben Stephens; highest goalscorer, Matt Salisbury.

Other awards and thanks went to the management team for all their hard work, Wendy Stephens for washing the kit, Kev Knighton for running the website, taking the photos and being treasurer, and Chris Hurford, team secretary and organiser.

Further thanks were expressed to sponsors the Ordulph Arms and to the Times for printing match reports.
