KNIGHTS, dragons and a cuppa were all served up in red and white this week at Aalen House Nursing Home in Okehampton. A red and white display was the order of the day as Aalen House celebrated St George's Day with residents, staff and their families. Nurse manager Jan Hazell said: 'Everyone got into the spirit of the event while activities co-ordinators and residents prepared decorations with staff, helping to inflate a mountain of red and white balloons. 'We have a full activities and entertainment programme and involve all who live and work here as well as those associated with the home.' The day ended in a group sing-a-long with traditional English songs. PSP Healthcare, the owners of Aalen house, are currently developing a new care village in Hatherleigh.
