aMAY I, through your letter column, take this opportunity to thank Tavistock Conservation Project for the voluntary work they have recently carried out at Tavistock Community Primary School.
Their activities have been somewhat curtailed due to the present foot and mouth crisis, so they offered to come to the school and undertake some tidying up in our grounds, particularly in areas where they have been involved with initial planting.
Their thoughtfulness in thinking of us has been greatly appreciated and our grounds are looking spick and span now that spring has arrived.
