MORE than 100 artists and crafts-people, both professional and amateur, will gather at Princetown Primary School next week for the 16th annual Dartmoor Arts and Crafts Show.

The show will feature works across a whole spectrum of creative arts and crafts, from wood-turning to lace-work, stone painting to card-making, by artists from across Dartmoor and South East Cornwall.

In the well established style of the arts and crafts show, this year's event will feature demonstrations, with displays of completed works for sale as well as materials, kits and tools for the beginner and the expertise to develop new skills.

Refreshments and light lunches are available daily, provided by members of the High Moorland WI.

The show takes place from August 4 to August 13, with doors open daily from 10am to 5pm. There is free parking on school grounds and admission is £2.50 and accompanied children free.

All proceeds from the event will go to school funds.
