THERE have been some good results from the carp lake at Anglers' Paradise in Halwill Junction with no less than five '30 pounders' in the past seven days.

Over four days Clint Miller caught mirror carps of 22lb, 25lb, 26lb and 36lbs and a 30lb 6oz common. Young angler Jake Fellows, fishing on mainline cell, caught a 36lb mirror fish. Andy Bowers with a 33lb 6oz on black snail within two hours of setting up, and finally Martin Rodgers one of the estate staff at Anglers' Paradise with a 37lb mirror which came out in early April at 34lbs.
