OKEHAMPTON did not seem to have the heart for this hard fought battle. The pitch was poor and the home team seemed intent on revenge for their defeat two weeks earlier.

Matthew Mortimer scored to equalise after Woolsery had taken the lead. The home team scored just before half time.

More of the same came in the second half with Okehampton giving away two sloppy goals. The only saving grace for the visitors was the performance of captain Mortimer, his second goal and two near misses could have saved his team.

This week, last game of the season away to Southgate.

THE second team showed more spirit and with a little luck could have easily come out winners.

Woolsery took the lead early on when a shot was deflected past Edwin Kendall in goal. There were good early interchanges between Kerry Bishop, Scott Bradfield and Ashley Clark. Despite the first goal Joe Turner, Callum Ausdon and Jack Dixon defended soundly.

Okehampton applied pressure in the second half with good runs from Wayne Atherton. The equaliser came from good passing with Bishop finishing clinically. Bradfield and Bishop both came close but the deadlock wasn't broken
