FUN was had by all when Tavistock Community Pre-school children entertained their parents, relatives and friends with Christmas songs and actions at the town's Alexander Centre.

Also in the audience was West Devon mayor Alison Clish-Green, who introduced the singalong and told the children she used to teach in the same building.

The singing followed a party for the children where Father Christmas made a surprise appearance.

Cakes, tea and coffee were served and there was a second-hand toy sale. The sing-along was concluded with a raffle. All proceeds went to the pre-schoo
