HATHERLEIGH Silver Band?s website has been voted ?Website of the Month? for August on the Brass Band Forum site http://www.themouthpiece.com">www.themouthpiece.com The site was nominated in July and had to be seconded by someone not affiliated to the band. A brass band net surfer in the US obliged and the best five sites were then chosen to go forward. The poll opened on August 1 and ran until September 1 with one vote per email address. In the early stages it was a close battle with Camborne Town Band, but Hatherleigh then opened up a lead and were the clear winners. The competition has got Hatherleigh Silver Band?s name featured in many bandrooms all over the world. The website will now receive a banner to place on its front page, a place in the Mouthpiece ?Hall of Fame?, a one month promotional banner and an interview on the band?s website themouthpiece.com
