Tavistock Community Sports Centre is inviting football side to join its seven a side league.

The men's football league has been played on the all weather pitch (AWP) for the last three years.

Barry Mountstevens said:?'We are contacting you as we feel this competition is continually growing and would appeal to players within your 11 a side team.

'It is a myth that Tavistock is a million miles away from anywhere with players regularly coming 30 minutess from centre of Plymouth and 25 minutes from Okehampton to play.'

There is prize money of £200; matches last one hour; games are played Sunday evenings, kick-offs 6pm or 7.15pm; squads of 7-14 players (aged over 16); £25 fees per match; prize for top goal scorer; post competition presentation evening with medals and cups to be won.

Closing date for team entries is Sunday, October 30.
