A?THANKSGIVING service to mark the closure of Operation Sunshine South West after 33 years of sending aid to poverty-stricken countries in Africa will take place at St Eustachius' Church, Tavistock on Wednesday, January 29 at 2.30pm.

It is open to all those who have been involved in making and sending goods as well as everyone who has supported the charity.

The final container loading, going to Zambia, will take place on Saturday, February 1. People are asked not to make any deliveries to Hurdwick Farm after mid-January.
