SCOUTS in South Zeal are desperately looking for help to fill vacancies for scout leaders. First South Zeal Scouts are looking for a new group scout leader and cub scout leader. Caroline Boother recently had to give up the post of group scout leader due to other commitments, and cub leaders Linda and Ian Lee will be leaving cubs this July, after many years of dedicated help. The thriving group is based at the scout hut in South Tawton, with beaver, cub and scout sections. More than 100 local children come to weekly meetings and if these positions are not filled, the group may have to close, leaving many children disappointed. If you have some time to spare and would be prepared to help, the group would be pleased to hear from you. Experience of scouting would be ideal but is not necessary as full training will be given.
